Seen here is the reason why we use commercial axles.  On the right is a commercial 180mm high speed brake and on the left is an 80mm agricultural spec.  The importance of matching trailer braking has never been more evident than now with the the scarlet report highlighting the short comings of brakes on agricultural axles.

IF YOU USE A TRAILER WHICH HAS AGRI-SPEC AXLES THE REST OF THE BRAKING IS DONE  BY YOUR TRACTOR.

We use 10 stud commercial axles with oil brakes which will allow for upgrade to full air brake specification when/if this becomes a legal requirement.  

Upgrade to full air brakes is available as an optional extra.
